Pastor

The Worship Center is a non-denominational church looking for a man called by the Holy Spirit, who embodies 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1: 5 – 9, to communicate the transformative Word of God to our congregation. We desire a man after God’s own heart who lives in God’s inspired and sufficient Word, a humble man of prayer, confident in his identity and calling in Christ.

Qualifications:
● Either a minimum of a Bible college or seminary degree and three years of evangelical, ministerial
experience, or formal Biblical training and at least six years of evangelical, ministerial experience.
● A solid background in leading ministries and facilitating the spiritual growth of congregants.
● Believing and attesting that all the gifts of the Holy Spirit are active in the church today
(1 Corinthians. 12-14, Romans 12, Ephesians 5).
Senior Pastor Responsibilities:
● Advise the Elders and current ministries of the church
● Minister to the congregation through preaching and teaching
● Be available to the congregation through regular office hours as determined by the Board of Elders
● Assist in upholding the Constitution and By-Laws in accordance with the church’s mission and vision
● Equip our church to effectively reach the generations in our community and around the world
● Pursue personal growth through study, small group participation, mentorship, conferences, and
continuing education
● Recognize the leadership of the Elders while providing advice and guidance to the Leadership Council
● Be aware that he represents The Worship Center to the community
