Ridgeland Community Church
Associate Pastor Ministry Description
Position An average of 20 hours/week, $25,000 to $30,000 annual salary (depending on experience and other factors), three weeks of paid vacation per year for the first three years (prorated in the first year); four weeks paid vacation in the fourth year and afterward. We anticipate that as the family ministry (described in this document) grows, the hour commitment and compensation will increase until this position becomes full time.
Who we are We are a small non-denominational church in Henrietta (a suburb of Rochester, New York) that is grounded in Scripture and orthodox theology (see our Statement of Faith). We have recently launched a vision to invite international students and neighbors from our community into our fellowship. Through social events such as monthly barbeques, children’s arts camps, and family game nights, as well as through seeker Bible studies, we have seen individuals turn their lives to Christ. We also have seen an increase in the number of individuals attending RCC services and/or groups. Because of this growth, we believe God is leading us to hire staff to focus on our ministry to families. We hope that this staff member also will have
Character Vibrant and growing Christian faith; moral grounding according to
