Position Overview:
The Dorm Captain provides overnight supervision and emergency coverage for residents in our Christ-centered men’s recovery home. This role is ideal for someone seeking a ministry-focused living environment while serving in a supportive, low-intensity overnight role.
Schedule:
- 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Sleep permitted during shift
- On-site for emergencies only
- Seasonal responsibility: filling the wood stove at approximately 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM
Compensation:
- Room and Board Provided
- No financial compensation
- Responsibilities Include: Being on-site overnight for emergencies, Ensuring safety and adherence to house guidelines, Seasonal wood stove maintenance (as noted above), Supporting a peaceful, structured environment
Qualifications:
- Mature, responsible, and dependable
- Comfortable in a faith-based recovery setting
- Ability to respond calmly to emergencies
