Part-Time Pastor

The Larger Parish Church (LPC) is actively seeking a part-time pastor to work in concert with a Ministry Team to shepherd a small, non-denominational church located in Canaseraga, NY.  LPC is seeking a man with spiritual maturity reflecting the character of Christ in both his private and public life, and who will faithfully preach the whole counsel of God’s word.

Qualifications:

1.  Born again, baptized believer who loves the Lord;

2.  Fulfill scriptural qualifications of a leader in 1 Timothy 3, and Titus 1;

3.  Proficiency in biblical theology and ability to convey biblical truth to all ages;

4.  Certified in biblical counseling, or have the intention to acquire such certification in the future;

5.  Ministry experience preferred, but not required.

Duties/Schedule: 

Sunday services, Bible study, Weddings, Funerals, Baptisms, Counseling, Visitations (home, hospitals, etc.).  Weekly hours and schedule will be negotiated with the LPC Church Council and LPC Ministry Team.
