NextGen Pastor/Director

Website Crossroads Community Church

Transforming Rural Communities for the Cause of Christ

We are looking for an individual who has a heart for children’s and student ministry with a strong desire to build healthy families in the church and the surrounding communities. This individual will oversee and direct both the Kidzlink children’s ministry and Crave student ministry at the Winnebago Campus for Crossroads Community Church.  Under the supervision of, and in partnership with, the Campus Pastor as well as the Central Ministry Pillars for each area, the NexGen Director/Pastor will have the opportunity to invest in the development of volunteer leaders to increase the impact of both programs.

We are at a point in time in our new building where we are primed for exponential growth in these areas, and are excited for this individual to join our team in reaching rural communities for the cause of Christ.  Only 20-30 minutes from a metropolis area, much of the population of Winnebago and surrounding communities consists of working professionals who commute into Rockford. Therefore, we have a strong desire to be a resource for these families, providing a ministry context that extends deep into home life.

Our staff is a fun-loving team who takes serving Christ seriously.  We want to add someone to our team who can laugh and cry with the people they serve, and who will work diligently and professionally, while enjoying the experience of living for and serving Jesus with a smile. If you feel this describes you, we look forward to reviewing your resume and beginning what could be the next step in your career!
