COLUMBIA CHURCH OF GOD SEEKS PASTOR

The Columbia Church of God, 43 North Seventh Street, Columbia PA (Eastern Regional Conference [ERC], Churches of God), is trusting in God for a part-time or bi-vocational pastor. Our church, established in 1869, offers a well-kept parsonage next door. We are located in the Borough of Columbia, along the tranquil Susquehanna River, on the western edge of beautiful Lancaster County.

Who Are We? We are a small, but spiritually-mature, loving, grace-filled congregation. Number wise, our congregation consists of about 50 members with internet regulars. Our Mission Statement is for all to hear, understand, live, and follow the Word of God; to personally know His love; and to become His hands and feet in the world today. Our Motto is “Come as you are. Leave CHANGED”.

Who Should Apply? We desire someone who loves God; who enjoys studying, teaching, and preaching God’s uncompromising Word with passion; and who has a genuine calling to shepherd His flock. What Are Our Expectations? You must be in complete agreement with the doctrinal stances of the Churches of God found in What We Believe and with our social stances found in Here We Stand. Additionally, you must be either licensed or ordained, or willing to be so, and approved for ministry within the Eastern Regional Conference of the Churches of God, General Conference.
